Venue Info

We have no on-site parking, the nearest carpark is The Italian Forum, alternatively there is nearby street parking. There is a loading zone at the top of Balmain Road for drop off.

Venue doors open at the time on your ticket, however our front bar & kitchen are open from 11am everyday, so come down early and grab a feed or a drink from the bar.
No need to rush off after the show, we’re open til late, hang around for some good tunes and good times.

Please make sure to check the door time of your show to ensure you don’t miss a thing. We advise you to arrive close to the door time to grab the best spot in the house. We do not post set times prior to the show. Come down early and see the supports, you might end up with a new favourite band.

No shock here, but no smoking or vaping inside the venue. We have a designated smoking area in the beergarden. Alternatively you can do so on Parramatta road. Please dispose of cigarette butts responsibly.

We do not tolerate any kind of offensive behaviour, verbal discrimination, aggression, physical violence, abuse or harassment of any kind. Respect and consent should be at the forefront of every interaction for not only patrons but bands, staff and security too.

Crowbar will always prioritize the safety of our guests. However, incidents may sometimes happen that are beyond our control. We encourage guests to communicate with our staff if they feel anyone’s safety is at risk.

The beergarden and patio areas are dog friendly! You’re welcome to walk your furry friend through the front bar to find a table out back. No pups in the venue though sorry, too loud!

Ticketing

Gigs that aren’t sold out will have a ticket allocation available from the door person on the night. We cannot hold tickets for you. First in, best dressed.

We don’t issue refunds or exchanges if you change your mind, however, you can list your ticket for sale on Tixel, which is a safe and legitimate ticket reselling website.

If an event is listed as ‘sold out’ on our site, then it generally means no tickets will be available from the door. On very rare occasions additional tickets will become available, but we have no way of predicting this.

If a show is sold out you’ll be able to join the waitlist via the event page, then you’ll be the first to know if we release tickets. Alternatively, you can try to find a ticket on Tixel – do not buy tickets off Viagogo or Facebook.

Majority of our gigs are 18+ for safety and licensing purposes. Unfortunately your 17 & 11 month friend cannot attend a ticketed event unless specified. Under 18 year olds are able to come in for lunch trade if they are under supervision of a parent or guardian.

Proof of age cards/licences are required every time you visit. We reserve the right to deny service even if you think you look over 18. If your licence is damaged or expired you will need to obtain a new one before visiting the venue.

Accessibility

Our Sydney venue is wheelchair accessible. The bar, kitchen, venue, patio and accessible bathrooms are all on one level via the Parramatta Road entrance, the beergarden is accessible via the carpark entrance, and our team will assist with access when needed.

We have a viewing platform in the venue and are happy to reserve space when contacted prior to show day, please contact us on socials or email us if you require assistance.

All our events are standing, unless otherwise specified. If you require a seat due to accessibility requirements please reach out to us prior to show day so that we can assist.

We also have a range of booths and tables in the front bar, patio & beergarden.

Seated events have un-allocated seating meaning first in, best dressed. In all cases we recommend getting in early if you want to get a good spot.

A companion card is issued to people with a disability who have a lifelong need for attendant care support in order to participate in community activities and attend venues. Crowbar provides companion card holders with a second ticket for their chosen companion at no cost given availability.

To arrange this please contact Oztix with your ticket confirmation and companion card details.

We have five bathrooms total. Two bathrooms inside, female in the front bar, male in the venue, on the patio we have male and female bathrooms and an accessible & gender neutral bathroom.

‘Male’ bathrooms are signed as such, because they contain public (not enclosed) urinals.

What to bring

Make sure you have your ticket either printed or on your phone ready to go. If you’re hoping to nab a door ticket, bring cash!

No steel caps or thongs (flip flops), if you have a large bag it may be searched at the door.

All patrons in possession of an 18+ ticket will need to show some form of photo ID to gain entry to the venue. A physical drivers licence, 18+ card and passport are all acceptable forms of physical photo ID, as is a digital licence through the Service NSW app.

Occasionally the merch table is cash only, if merch is your thing, be prepared!
