SOUNDS GOOD BAND SERIES
The SOUNDS GOOD series needs no dressing up, a band competition designed to help your band get to the next level with direct industry advice. Four heat style showcases performed in-front of industry greats with the finalists playing for the grand prize pool put together with Merch Fan, Mountain Goat, Select Music, Stage Door Productions, The Pet Food Factory and Crowbar.
THE WINNING BAND WILL RECEIVE:
– REHEARSAL TIME AT STAGE DOOR PRODUCTIONS
– RECORDING, MIX AND MASTERING OF A SONG WITH JAY WHALLEY AT THE PET FOOD FACTORY
– SELECT MUSIC TOUR STRATEGY SESSION WITH CASEY O’SHAUGHNESSY
– $1000 MERCH CREDIT WITH MERCH FAN
– RIDER FOR 6 MONTHS FROM MOUNTAIN GOAT
– HEADLINING SHOW AT CROWBAR
Artist entry is free, with bands having the chance to sell tickets and make money. Judging will be focused on songwriting and structure, musicianship, stage presence and your ability to draw a crowd. Every band accepted in a heat will receive a voucher for 1 x rehearsal at Stage Door in Alexandria to use at a future date.

In attendance each week will be professionals from various sectors of the music industry from record labels to publishers to booking agencies. Sounds Good will provide a platform for the Artists to showcase to these industry heads and the chance to win the grand prize.
